Booker College Planning is here to assist you with guiding your child through the college planning and application process. According to Collegevine there’s no one right way to handle the college planning process as a parent. Your ideal level and type of involvement in preparing your child for college will depend on your child’s individual needs. However, students definitely benefit when their parents play an active role.

College Readiness 101 (One-Hour Complimentary Session)

This service is designed for students and parents who are seeking general advice on the college planning process. During your session, a college planning consultant will assess your college readiness by:

  • Answering questions you have about the college planning process
  • Reviewing your high school transcript and test scores
  • Exploring your extracurricular activities, interests, and talents
  • Providing feedback and recommending a college planning strategy that meets your specific needs

Who this is for:

High school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

60-minutes (In-person and virtual)

Countdown to College for High School Seniors (Comprehensive Package)

If you’re looking for the total package, Countdown to College for High School Seniors covers it all! Our expert consultants will guide students and parents through the entire college planning and application process, which includes but not limited to:

  • Discuss postsecondary education goals.
  • Navigate college planning timelines and checklists.
  • Help students create a college planning “to-do” list.
  • Review High school transcript.
  • Review College Entrance Exam schedule (SAT, ACT, PSAT, etc.).
  • Preparation of college list--i.e., target, reach, and safety schools.
  • Prepare students for college interviews.
  • Discuss college visitation options.
  • Brag Sheet development.
  • College essay brainstorming and content ideas.
  • Review college applications before submission.
